About The Author

Michelle Clare Benoit received her love for reading and children’s picture books when she was studying elementary education at Loyola University of the south. Since then, children and books have become her lifelong passion. As a school librarian, Michelle learned how to engage in the practice of storytelling. This is where many of the characters in her books came to life. While traveling throughout her home state of Louisiana, Michelle found rich culture in cities like Dulac, Louisiana. She lives in Baton Rouge, LA. and has three children.
